On October 10, 2025, the "Dongfanghong 3" research vessel of Ocean University of China, along with the onboard detection equipment for the special medical research project of Qingdao University's Qingdao Medical College, smoothly set sail. It officially launched a 35-day mission to conduct real-time monitoring of the exhaled breath of ocean-going crew members. As the core equipment supplier of this project, Chengdu Ailiben Technology Co., Ltd. provided key technical support for assessing the health risks of crew members in maritime environments by using its independently developed Breath-TOF MS 2000 human exhaled breath detection mass spectrometer. This also promoted the innovative application of non-invasive exhaled breath monitoring technology in the field of special medicine.

The "Development of a Human Exhaled Gas Monitoring System for Maritime Environments and Assessment of Crew Health Risks" project led by Qingdao University focuses on the assessment of health risks for seafarers. It addresses the issues that seafarers are prone to face in maritime environments, such as fatigue, stress, and anxiety. Relying on the non-invasive detection capabilities of the Breath-TOF MS 2000, this project conducts real-time analysis of the dynamic changes in volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the exhaled gases of seafarers. It provides key data support for establishing health correlation models for seafarers and constructing a "four-in-one" mental illness early warning system. This equipment is a manifestation of the deep cooperation between Qingdao University and Ailiben Technology. Previously, the two parties jointly established the "Qingdao University College of Pharmacy - Chengdu Ailiben Research and Development Center" to continuously promote the innovative application of exhaled gas monitoring technology in special medicine fields.
Breath-TOF MS 2000

Technology Leadership: Abandoning the traditional GC-MS separation technology, photon ionization enables rapid detection in 0.1 seconds and real-time full-spectrum analysis;
Efficiency and Precision: The accuracy, specificity, and sensitivity all exceed 90%. A single test takes 2-5 minutes and results are available in real time;
Operational Convenience: Automatic sampling, analysis, and report generation, without relying on professional physicians or complex laboratory resources;
Scene Adaptability: Non-invasive and non-intrusive, suitable for special environments such as navigation, ensuring the continuity of sample collection. Compliant and reliable: Obtained the national medical device Class II registration certificate, supporting multiple scenarios such as cancer early screening and anesthesia drug monitoring.
